This is a hands-on, shop-floor role focused on removing burrs, refining surfaces, and ensuring parts meet strict quality standards. Whether you're entry-level or highly experienced, this role offers steady hours, strong benefits, and a clear path for growth. Higher levels include advanced inspection, tool maintenance, and the opportunity to train and lead others. What You'll Do Remove burrs using grinding wheels, speed cutters, and hand tools Use deburring knives and pneumatic tools for precision edge finishing Operate drill press with burr tools to break edges and refine features Sand and blend surfaces using Vertex tools and sandpaper Inspect parts using microscopes and illumination equipment Read and follow work instructions, work orders, and blueprints Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality Maintain tools and replace worn or defective equipment Keep work area clean, organized, and well-lit Support R D and continuous improvement initiatives What You Need Experience in deburring, grinding, or manufacturing (level-dependent) Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions Strong attention to detail and quality standards Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques Experience with scope work deburring Ability to resharpen tools (Level 3-4 preferred) Ability to train and lead others (Level 4) Physical Requirements Stand and work on your feet for extended periods Use hands and tools with precision and control Lift and move up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 30 lbs frequently Good vision, including close-up inspection work
