Essential Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret fabrication drawings Determine required surface finishes for metal parts, assemblies, and weldments Use grinders, buff wheels, and various hand tools to achieve required surface finishes Complete all required paperwork following Standard Operating Procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned by shop supervision Desired Experience 3+ years of metal finishing experience Knowledge of sanitary finishes, including grinding, graining, brushing, and random orbital finishing Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and steel Skills & Abilities Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and surface finish requirements Proficiency with grinders, buff wheels, and common metal finishing tools Ability to use standard measuring tools to verify dimensions and finishes Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and convert fractions/decimals Prior Lean Manufacturing training or experience is a strong plus Why Join Us?
