Full Job Description Hourly Rate:

$20.00 per hour

SUMMARY:

The Bandsaw Operator is responsible for accurately cutting raw materials according to production specifications while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.

SPECIFICATIONS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate bandsaw equipment to cut metal materials to specified lengths and dimensions. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules. Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices. Verify material dimensions and quality before and after cutting. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Maintain production records and material tracking documentation. Keep work areas clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Assist with material handling and other fabrication tasks as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

(S): Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. Ability to read measuring devices accurately. Basic mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT

Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises. Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds. Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and includes the use of protective equipment.
