Quality Name Plate, Inc. is seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Power Press Setup & Operator / Tool & Die Maintenance employee to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating power press equipment, as well as maintaining, sharpening, and making minor repairs to dies to ensure consistent, high-quality production. Responsibilities Set up and operate power press equipment safely and efficiently. Install, align, and adjust dies for production jobs. Sharpen and maintain dies to ensure clean, accurate cuts. Inspect dies for wear, damage, or other issues and perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed. Set and adjust press parameters according to job requirements and material being processed. Read and follow work orders, drawings, and production specifications. Troubleshoot press, die, and cutting issues during production. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures, including proper machine guarding and lockout/tagout requirements. Work with production and quality personnel to resolve manufacturing or quality issues. Perform other related manufacturing duties as needed. Qualifications Ability to operate a Bridgeport Grinder preferred. Previous experience operating power presses, punch presses, die-cutting equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery preferred. Experience sharpening, maintaining, or repairing compound dies is highly desirable. Good mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot tooling and equipment problems. Ability to work accurately and consistently with close attention to detail. Ability to read basic manufacturing drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Familiarity with basic measuring tools preferred. Ability to safely handle tooling, materials, and manufactured parts. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a manufacturing team. Physical Requirements This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling of materials and tooling throughout the workday. The employee must be able to safely lift and move materials and tooling associated with press operations, with assistance or lifting equipment when appropriate.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
