Responsibilities:

File and sand grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of metal objects, such as machined parts, to conform to blueprint specifications Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools Load and adjust workpieces onto equipment or worktables Measure and mark parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met Apply solutions and chemicals to equipment, objects, or parts, using hand tools Record product and processing data on specified forms Transfer equipment, objects, or parts to specified work areas, using moving devices Maintain safe and clean working environment following OSHA and company policy Work within 5s methodology Other duties as assigned Requirements /

Qualifications:

2 or more years experience with hand tools, grinders, files Experience in an industrial environment Good communication skills, written and verbal Good interpersonal and time-management skills Positive working attitude, detail-oriented. Frequent bending, pushing / pulling, reaching and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.

Requirements:

Must be willing to work shift patterns Must be a US Citizen Pass a drug test Applicants cannot have any felonies within the past 7 years and no domestic violence or any crime in which a firearm was used

Education :
