is one of the world's largest door and window manufacturers, with more than 22,000 employees operating in 24 countries globally. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows. Successful candidate(s) may perform any of the following duties: Accurately read work order picks and use measuring tools Operate conventional machines such as Table Saw's, Mills, Surface Grinder, Drill Sharpener etc work on the CNC/Komo Machine (Training Provided, experience preferred) Perform mathematical valuations, as well as read and understand technical drawings Start of shift preventative maintenance inspection Material preparation and material handling Work overtime as needed to satisfy customer demands Other general warehouse duties as needed Work overtime as needed to satisfy customer demandsSpecial Requirements:
Commercial machine operator experience Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.) Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment General knowledge of building materials Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools Works well in a fast-paced, TEAM environment Good communication skills both verbal and written Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.What we offer:
