Job Description

FlexTrades is hiring experienced Deburr Technicians for nationwide project-based manufacturing assignments supporting precision machining and finishing operations. This role is designed for technicians who can work carefully with small, precision components, remove burrs from complex features and maintain tight dimensional and surface finish requirements without removing excess material. Position Overview The Deburr Technician will perform precision deburring, polishing, buffing and finishing work on machined components using hand tools, grinders, sanding tools and magnification equipment. This position requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail and the ability to follow engineering prints, work instructions and inspection requirements throughout the finishing process. Responsibilities Deburr machined components using hand tools Use air grinders, electric grinders, buffers and sanding tools Remove burrs from internal and external features Deburr chamfers, radii, angles and intersecting holes Polish and buff finished components Clean components after finishing operations Work with small precision parts under magnification or scope equipment Follow work instructions and process documentation Read and follow engineering prints Maintain dimensional tolerance requirements Maintain required surface finish standards Complete first article inspections Obtain required approvals before processing production lots Maintain quality standards on simple and complex components Perform precision finishing without removing excess material Participate in required training and certification processes Complete quality assessments as required Qualifications Experience deburring machined components in a manufacturing environment Experience working with small precision parts Ability to read and follow engineering prints Ability to follow detailed work instructions Understanding of chamfers, radii, diameters and angles Experience working to tight tolerances Strong manual dexterity Strong attention to detail Experience using deburring, polishing and finishing tools Ability to meet established quality and production standards Ability to pass a vision examination Preferred Qualifications Experience deburring complex machined components About FlexTrades FlexTrades is a manufacturing workforce solutions company that deploys skilled tradespeople and technical specialists to worksites across the United States.
