Job Description

COMPANY SUMMARY
The focus of Hodge Western Corp over the last 20 years started in heavy civil and evolved into technology-driven, specialty underground utility construction.
We operate in three divisions:
Renewable Energy, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and Rock Trenching. Our company works on projects throughout the United States. We are passionate about executing and growing our specialized methods for complex utility construction to provide our partner customers with significant advantages in both safety and efficiency over traditional means and methods.

ASAP JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking Rock Trenching Operators to join our growing team. This is a full-time traveling position supporting projects across multiple regions. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of rock trenching experience and demonstrate the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company standard operating procedures. Preference will be given to candidates with experience operating or familiarity with Tesmec or Vermeer trenchers and Topcon GPS systems .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate Rock Trencher safely and efficiently to achieve clean, accurate, and unobstructed trenching Perform daily equipment maintenance including fueling, checking fluids, greasing, and routine inspections Conduct welding as needed (daily/weekly) to maintain production readiness Utilize Topcon GPS systems for machine control, layout, and as-built documentation Perform QA/QC checks to ensure trench dimensions meet project specifications Complete daily reports and documentation as required Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1+ year of rock trenching experience Valid U.S. Driver's License Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work on your feet for extended periods, and work outdoors year-round in varying conditions Willingness to work 10+ hour shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
