Job Description
Forge Catcher Position Purpose:
Position is responsible for assisting the Forger Operator in the forge operation
Essential Functions:
Transfers parts to and from workstations, such as furnace, forge press, and trim press, using tongs; Clean dies with compressed air and lubricate dies during forging operations. As required, mix lubricant as instructed; Removes scale from parts and dies, using wire brush; Positions and turns parts during forging; Assist the Forge Operator to set dies in forge press, align dies, position and secure clamps and bolts; oil and grease die parts; Assist Forge Operator in making adjustments and minor repairs, tighten bolts and clamps, and perform any related duties to assist Forge Operator; Inspect parts as they come off the press; Maintain daily timekeeping, production, and interventions on computer systems; Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition; Follow verbal/written instructions given by Supervisor; Actively participate in efforts to establish and promote a safe and healthy work environment; Follow policies, programs, and procedures for the reduction and elimination of industrial accidents and provide quality feedback to promote safer work behaviors and conditions.
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or GED required No experience needed

Pay & Benefits Rate:
In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the hourly payrate for this position is $19.00-24.00. This payrate is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
