Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Precision ID/OD Grinder and become a vital part of producing precision-engineered components. In this role, you will operate and set up cylindrical grinding machines to shape metal parts with exceptional accuracy and quality. Your expertise will help ensure that our products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability. Responsibilities Set-up and operate cylindrical grinding machines for internal and external grinding applications. Interpret blueprints/sketches from verbal/written instructions or from the part to be duplicated or fitted Perform hand operations (using tools of trade) involved in producing jigs, fixtures, tools and dies. Grind parts to precise dimensions and tolerances Inspects ground parts for conformance to part specifications during 1st piece, in-process and after final grinding. Select and dress grinding wheels based on material and job requirements. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards. Maintains records, drawings or other paperwork as required Maintains a clean, orderly and safe working environment and perform machine maintenance. Train and assist grinders and machine operators as needed Perform duties per ISO standards Interpret Travelers and Routings/Data input Programming and edits at machine. Perform other duties as required by management Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Maintains production and inspection records as required. Qualifications Minimum 2 years' experience as a cylindrical grinder Knowledge of CNC or NC programming. Experience with OD/ID grinding operations Grinding wheel maintenance. Knowledge of dimensional inspection and GD&T Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Basic math skills. Must be a U.S. Person as defined by

regulations (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, Lawful Permanent Resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have a working knowledge of cylindrical grinding machines. Plan and perform the set-up and operation of cylindrical grinder and all auxiliary equipment Use a variety of precision inspection equipment such as comparators, gauging tools, micrometers, calipers, height gauges and established surface plate set-ups Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand the entire shift.Pay:
