Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Cutter Operator to join our production team. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining Brausse and Heidelberg sheet-fed die cutting machines to produce high-quality printed materials according to customer specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up and operate die cutting equipment for cutting, creasing, perforating, and stripping operations Perform make-readies efficiently and ensure tooling is properly installed and maintained Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runs Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed Maintain accurate production records and logs Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Keep work area clean and organizedQualifications:
High school diploma or GED Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating Brausse or similar die cutting machines Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of die cutting processes Ability to read and interpret sheet lay-outs and job specifications Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment Basic math and measurement skills (e.g., tape measure to 1/16") Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsSkills:
Experience with folding carton production Knowledge of nicking patterns, rubbering techniques, and matrix setup Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and commitment to qualityBenefits:
