LOOKING FOR

3rd Hone Operator Training on 1st shift Shift premium

Available Hone Operator Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to produce quality parts according to dimensions specified on the Job Ticket in the desired quantities by following established procedures and processes.

Description of work:

Use information from the Job Ticket to hone ID's on parts to specifications using Honing equipment while following all safety procedures and use of proper PPE. Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following: Set up and operate Sunnen hones to hone ID's according to work instructions Read prints and work instructions to determine required ID dimension and tolerancesSelect mandrels, stones, wedges, and other components as required per job Setup machine using indicators, setup parts, and other equipment to produce parts to required tolerancesUse appropriate measuring equipment to inspect finished parts Ensure all gages are calibrated and set accurately Select appropriate jobs to run based on Rockform procedures Clean all parts after completion Monitor and maintain hone tooling and gage pin inventories Perform routine machine maintenance (preventive maintenace) Maintain work area cleanliness and organization Log completed jobs for job tracking purposesWork overtime as required to maintain production Ensure careful handling of materials and tools to avoid damage Understand the feeling and difference of an indicated mandrel and un-indicated mandrel

Required Skills:

Ability to read a micrometer, ID micrometer, indicator, and caliper Ability to correctly use gage pins Ability to read and understand work instructions Basic math skillsBasic troubleshooting skills & mechanical aptitude Strong attention to detail Good oral and written communication skills Good organizational skills Dedication to quality and efficiency Good teamwork We are looking for Long Term Employees who are wanting to Grow with OUR Growing Company.
