Position Overview:

GTR Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and versatile fabrication finisher to join our production team. This role involves the finishing of high volume parts. The successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility to assist in several areas of production, ensuring the continuous flow of operations across the shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct grinding, deburring, and surface finishing of welds to meet aesthetic and functional standards. Assist in general fabrication activities such as forming or machine operation as needed. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in compliance with company safety policies. Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly. Able to read calipers and maintain tolerances for precision light gauge sheet metal

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in welding or fabrication preferred. Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience , preferably within a precision or prototype sheet metal environment.

Technical Skills:

Competent with hand tools, grinders, and general fabrication equipment. Capable of producing high-quality finishes.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials up to 50 lbs. Standing, bending, and performing physical work for extended periods. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses and gloves GTR Manufacturing is an equal opportunity employer.
