Sheet Metal Operator

Position Description:

Set-up and operate various types of Sheet Metal, Bench, and Deburring Equipment under the direction of the area supervisor.

Essential Responsibilities:

Set up and operate various types of Sheet Metal, Bench and Deburring equipment. Follow written work instructions and work to blueprints. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE. Produce at standard and quality levels in accordance with company s requirements. Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. Maintain area, workbenches, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition. Observe all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches Must have demonstrated mechanical ability Must be able to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy Must be able to manage time effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills
