Grinder Set Up Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Grinder Set Up Operator for the first shift who can expertly perform ID/OD, Jig, and Surface grinding on various types of steel and metal This position requires precision and a keen eye for detail in a job shop environment Job Responsibilities Set up the machine with the appropriate metal for grinding Hold tight tolerances on the machine, ensuring precision in grinding operations Perform ID/OD, Jig, and Surface grinding efficiently Operate hand tools for grinding processes Maintain high-quality standards, holding tolerances to within tenths of a thousandth of an inch Essential Skills Proficiency in ID/OD grinding Experience with Jig and Surface grinding Ability to hold tight tolerances on grinding machines Skilled in working with steel, including stainless, cold-roll, and mild steel Shift 1st
