Full Job Description Description:

Progressive Surface is seeking a Thermal Spray Operator to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including waterjet, abrasive waterjet, shot peening, thermal spray, and grit blasting machinery. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality parts while maintaining safety and production standards.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Operate thermal spray, and grit blasting equipment and at times waterjet, abrasive waterjet and shot peening machinery. Assist with set ups and changing over equipment. Follow work instructions and production schedules. Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist with material handling and other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read and follow work instructions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Willingness to learn multiple processes and work as part of a team.
