Die Cut Machine Operator

We are looking for a Die Cut Machine Operator for our 2nd and 3rd shift in Sturgis, Michigan. Responsibilities Comply with all company safety rules and workplace conduct requirements Set up and run a die cutter machine Perform routine machine maintenance Monitor the entire die cutting process to ensure quality Perform die repair, including replacing knife, creases and rubber Familiar with both inline/offline embossing and has experience using a honeycomb Assist in training other individuals and team members when required Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction Perform other job duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills Required HS Diploma or GED required Applicants should have prior die cutter operation experience Possess excellent computer skills Ability to lift 10 - 15 pounds continuously with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift Must have good visual acuity Must have good color vision Must demonstrate basic mathematical skills Must be able to read a ruler and understand fractions Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reach frequently Must be able to perform well under deadline constraints and meet quality standards Must be detail oriented and have excellent, quality driven work habits Must be able to work with and around inks, solvents, and other chemicals Willingness to work overtime when needed, including weekends Ability to work well with others and in a diverse workforce environment Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
