This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC plasma cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with fabrication processes, understands blueprints, and is committed to safety and precision.

Essential Job Functions:

Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting tables to cut metal parts accurately and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders Load raw materials (steel, aluminum, or stainless) onto cutting tables Select appropriate cutting parameters (amperage, speed, gas type) Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares) Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues Maintain clean and organized work area (5S standards preferred) Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams as needed

Qualifications:

1-3+ years of experience operating CNC plasma or similar cutting equipment preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Basic computer skills for loading and adjusting CNC programs Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SheetCam, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) is a plus Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods What we offer: Competitive compensation 100% company paid health insurance for employee and dependents 100% company paid dental and vision for employee and dependents 401k with 3% company match Overtime after 8 hours PTO And much more!
