Description:
Industrial Maintenance Technician Join Production Castings, Inc., a family-owned leader in precision zinc and aluminum die cast components with over 50 years of industry experience. Our Fenton facility is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to diverse sectors including automotive, industrial, consumer products, and defense. Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair die casting machines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls, and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal operation Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment to minimize downtime Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective corrective repairs Assist production teams in minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining production schedules Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Support safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery efficiently Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a proactive approach to safety High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus At Production Castings, we value our employees and are dedicated to providing opportunities for professional growth and development. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred. Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing strongly preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with Hydraulic systems and repair, Pneumatic systems, and AC/DC motor repair. Familiarity with CNC and PLC systems is a plus. Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Welding and basic fabrication skills preferred. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to work overtime and be on call for emergency repairs if needed.
