This detail-oriented role requires a commitment to achieving a flawless finish. Prioritize production of counter dies to meet established deadlines and shipping schedules. Ensure proper finishing and counter die making techniques are followed throughout the process. In a well-lit workstation, utilize sanding blocks and a Drummel tool station (equipped with various fine-polishing tips) to sand, smooth, and polish metal stamping dies to achieve a flawless finish. Meticulously finish all counter dies, adhering to h+m's established quality standards. Conduct thorough initial and final inspections as outlined in the Work Order and Quality Manual. Perform die strikes as needed for internal or customer requirements. Participate in monthly and year-end inventory counts for raw materials, shop supplies, and finished goods. Assist the Counterdie Technician during peak times or absences to ensure smooth operation. Be open to cross-training opportunities to serve as backup for other roles. Process incoming shipments of raw materials and shop supplies. Unpack, stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Submit completed and stamped packing slips to the office.
