The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to independently interpret technical drawings and produce parts to final dimensions. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with significant growth options. Transferable Experience Candidates without formal composite experience may also be considered if they have a background in aircraft structures, aircraft maintenance, woodworking, fabrication, or other precision trades may be highly qualified for this position.
Composite Trimmer Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and work independently from technical drawings and manufacturing instructions.
  • Trim composite components to final dimensions and specified tolerances.
  • Accurately locate and maintain critical dimensions during trimming operations.
  • Measure and inspect completed parts to verify dimensional requirements.
  • Perform post-process bonding and attachment of hardware as required.
  • Prepare surfaces for bonding and other finishing operations.
  • Maintain required surface finish and overall part quality.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and appropriate measuring equipment to complete trimming and finishing operations.
  • Identify dimensional or quality issues and communicate discrepancies appropriately.
  • Follow established manufacturing procedures and quality requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Composite Trimmer Qualifications:
  • Ability to independently read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
  • Demonstrated ability to trim parts to final dimensions while maintaining critical measurements.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent hand skills.
  • Experience using hand and power tools for precision fabrication or finishing.
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work while maintaining consistent quality.
  • Strong understanding of measurements, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Composite Trimmer Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary is commensurate with experience and health benefits are offered.
Pay:
$18.00
