Responsibilities The Leveler Machine Operator position is responsible for all job activities (tasks) associated with the Leveler to satisfy customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery, in a safe manner while maximizing productivity. Set up and operate Leveler machine to cut sheets of specific length and width.

This includes:

Ensuring proper specifications, material checks, cut quality, transformations, and quality inspections. Perform measuring device checks as required by procedures. Do pre-processing material verification. Maintain and replace necessary consumables as required to maximize cut quality. Keep machines running at 100% efficiency. Qualifications Previous steel experience preferred. High School Diploma or required Production oriented. Must be mechanically inclined Basic math skills required Safety and quality conscious. Team player Working knowledge of general computer programs strongly preferred Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
