Position Summary The Permox Liner Technician is responsible for preparing, applying, and inspecting Permox protective lining on steel pipe and fabricated products in accordance with company quality standards and customer specifications. This position ensures products are properly coated while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Essential Duties Prepare steel pipe and fittings for the application of Permox lining. Apply Permox lining in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. Inspect coated products for proper coverage, thickness, and finish. Operate production and material-handling equipment safely. Move materials using forklifts or overhead cranes as trained and authorized. Maintain accurate production records and report quality concerns. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Manufacturing experience preferred. Forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred. Ability to follow work instructions and quality specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; heavier materials are moved using mechanical equipment. Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, coatings, noise, and varying temperatures. Work Environment Work is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to heavy equipment, steel materials, industrial coatings, and moving machinery.
