Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deburr Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for refining and smoothing metal components to ensure they meet precise specifications and quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain the high standards of our products, supporting efficient production processes and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and precision are paramount. Duties Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to prepare components for assembly Read and interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure accurate deburring processes Perform quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other measurement tools to verify dimensions and surface finishes Assist with CNC programming, CAM programming, and setup adjustments to optimize machining operations Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles Collaborate with machining, fabrication, assembly teams, and warehouse personnel to support production flow Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and technical drawings Experience operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming skills Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately Knowledge of welding techniques including MIG welding is a plus for handling related fabrication tasks Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAM programming, and press brake operation enhances versatility Understanding of lean manufacturing practices to promote efficiency and waste reduction Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding material flow and inventory management Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions for deburring processes Join us in a role that challenges your skills while offering opportunities for growth in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
