High SchoolResponsibilities Deburr, grind, polish, and finish metal and manufactured components according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Remove sharp edges, burrs, weld spatter, excess material, and other surface imperfections. Use hand tools, grinders, sanders, files, abrasive wheels, polishing equipment, and other finishing tools. Inspect parts visually and with appropriate measuring tools to ensure quality requirements are met. Maintain consistent surface finishes and part dimensions throughout the finishing process. Identify defects or issues and communicate them to the supervisor or quality team.
