$18/hr Job Description A small manufacturing company is seeking a Technician who will be operating machinery such as cylindrical grinder and edge beveller. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
Operate manual machine tools Read and understand mechanical drawings Properly use tape measure, scale, micrometer, dial caliper, or other measuring instruments
Job Requirements Qualifications:
Must have previously experience operating a cylindrical grinder and edge beveller Must be a mechanically inclined individual with basic industrial experience Must be familiar with manual machine tools Must have the ability to understand mechanical drawings Must be able to accurately use tape measure, scale, micrometer, and dial caliper Must have steel toed boots Must be an effective communicator, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, organized, and reliable. Must be comfortable wearing required PPE Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
