Position Summary The C2C Team Member will be required to perform tasks involving physical labour in a manufacturing environment and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the disassembly of metal racking, making any modifications required to reuse them, griding, scraping, and sanding. The C2C Team Member will be responsible for the efficient production disassembly/assembly of products according to established procedures while following all safety protocols and workplace policies. Responsibilities Perform tasks involving physical labour and operation of a variety of hand and power tools Operation of the plasma cutter and grinder to disassemble metal racks to prepare for reuse Cutting of materials including cleaning, alignment and adjustment of the equipment, and collection of the finished product Participate in daily start and end of shift activities such as setting up production line and end-of-shift cleaning Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines. Work on rack modifications Work with other team members and your supervisor to ensure quotas are being continuously hit Work in compliance using established procedures while following all safety protocols and workplace policies Other duties as assigned Requirements 1+ years of experience in skilled general labour (required) 1+ years of experience operating plasma cutter and/or grinder (preferred) Familiarity with power tools and machinery is required Preferably possess a valid driver's license Highly flexible Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently in a busy environment Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Able to effectively communicate verbally Able to work well under pressure Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques Ability to lift 50+ lbs
