Needed Location:

Streetsboro, Ohio

Schedule:

 Monday•Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime available

Pay:

 $20•24/hour (based on experience) Are you a precision-driven professional with a passion for grinding excellence? Join our team as a Blanchard Grinder and help us craft high-quality, large metal plates and components with accuracy and pride.

What You'll Do:

Set up and operate Rotary Surface Blanchard Grinding Machines to remove material from large metal plates and components Grind ferrous and non-ferrous materials including steel, alloy, and stainless Load and position large/heavy workpieces using overhead crane or forklift Adjust feeds, speeds, and grinding wheels to meet specifications Monitor grinding process to maintain flatness, parallelism, and surface finish Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges Deburr and finish parts as needed Maintain coolant levels, machine condition, and cleanliness of work area Read and interpret blueprints

JOB REQUIREMENTS

What We're Looking For:

Experience operating Blanchard or surface grinders preferred Must have a strong mechanical aptitude Must have the ability to read blueprints and hold tolerances Experience with large and heavy steel parts is strongly preferred Crane and/or forklift experience is a plus Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
