Grinder Location:
Tulsa, OK Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 3:00 AM - 1:30
PM Overtime:
Expected on Fridays (8-hour shifts)
Pay:
$16 - $20 per hour Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Corrected vision must be 20/20 Manufacturing, metalworking, or industrial experience preferred Experience operating grinders, cutting equipment, forklifts, or overhead cranes preferred General knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and workplace safety regulations Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple foundry operations Stable work history strongly preferred Ability to work in extreme temperatures, dust, noise, fumes, and around moving equipment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching Required to wear PPE, including hard hat, gloves, face mask, and steel-toed boots Responsibilities Operate hand-held and stationary tools including grinders, chippers, saws, and blasting equipment Remove excess material and finish metal castings to meet customer and quality specifications Inspect castings for defects and report concerns to supervisors or leads Perform routine maintenance and daily safety inspections on equipment Move materials safely using forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other material-handling equipment Assist with foundry operations including: Core Making Mold Making and Closing Melting Operations Pouring Operations Shakeout Processes Support sand reclamation, pattern storage, and casting touch-up activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and HSE requirements Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs
