Press Operator

SUMMARY

The Press Operator is responsible for set up and operations of a variety of hydraulic presses, lathes and other equipment to produce drawn and/or forged products to specification.

WHAT YOU WILL

DOOperate Double acting presses and hydraulic presses.

Operate manual and CNC lathesOperate belt and disc sandersOperate Die setsApply specialized LubricationOperate part washers, vibratory machines and other cleaning equipmentFamiliarize with precision measuring hand tools.

Keep work area clean and free of safety hazardsOperate forklift to load, unload and move tooling and material.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING

FORHigh school graduate or equivalent in work experience.

Mechanical aptitude, math skillsAble to follow verbal and written instructionsConstant standing/walking/sitting for at least 10 hours.

Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs, minimum 35 lbs.

Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required.

Constant holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s).
