All Seasons Placement - 4.1 Fairview, PA Job Details Full-time $16 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Packing High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description Machining & Molding Manufacturing Facility 1st Shift | Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Grinder / Secondary Operations Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing secondary finishing operations on machined and molded components to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools, grinders, deburring equipment, and inspection tools in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform grinding, deburring, trimming, and finishing operations on machined and molded parts Remove excess material, flash, burrs, and sharp edges from production components Operate hand grinders, belt sanders, air tools, and other finishing equipment Inspect parts for quality, appearance, and dimensional accuracy Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation Identify and report product defects or quality concerns to supervisors Package finished products according to customer and company requirements Maintain accurate production and inspection records Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of workstations and equipment Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards Assist with production and assembly tasks as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing, machining, molding, or production experience preferred Experience using hand tools, grinders, sanders, and measuring devices is a plus Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions Strong attention to detail and quality Good attendance and work history Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience in CNC machining, plastic injection molding, or metal fabrication Familiarity with deburring and secondary finishing operations Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Understanding of manufacturing quality standards Basic mechanical aptitude Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and machinery Submission to a criminal background check.
