Job Description

About the Role As a Wire Belt Production Specialist, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations by operating spiral loom machinery to produce high-quality industrial belting. You will be responsible for ensuring product precision through meticulous quality inspections and equipment adjustments, directly impacting our ability to meet customer specifications and production goals. Responsibilities Operate spiral loom machines to manufacture wire belting products according to production standards. Perform precise quality checks using calipers, measuring tapes, and mathematical calculations to ensure adherence to specifications. Execute machine setups and diagnose production issues to maintain consistent output with minimal supervision. Utilize welding equipment, including gas and electric tools, to cut, fit, and join metal components. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by strictly adhering to all EHS policies and PPE requirements. Document quality data on work orders and report any process deviations to supervision. Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional tasks. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED. Basic proficiency in shop math, including fractions and decimals. Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures. Commitment to workplace safety and active participation in risk assessments. Preferred Skills Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial machine operation role. Familiarity with welding processes, including TIG or MIG techniques. Experience with metal fabrication tools like grinders, plasma cutters, and drills. Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and perform setups independently.
