Job Description

About the Role As a Wire Belt Production Technician, you will play a vital role in manufacturing high-quality industrial wire belting products. You will operate spiral loom machinery, perform precision quality inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to ensure our production goals are met consistently. Responsibilities Operate and maintain spiral loom machines to produce wire belting according to production schedules. Perform quality control inspections using calipers, measuring tapes, and mathematical calculations to ensure products meet exact specifications. Conduct equipment setups and adjustments to diagnose and resolve production issues with minimal supervision. Execute metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, fitting, and welding using gas, electric, MIG, and TIG equipment. Utilize shop tools such as saws, torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and drills to prepare and finish metal components. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to all EHS policies, wearing required PPE, and reporting hazards immediately. Document quality data on work orders and collaborate with the team to improve manufacturing processes. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1-3 months of related manufacturing, machine operation, or welding experience. Proficiency in basic math, including fractions, decimals, and measurements. Ability to interpret work orders and follow technical instructions accurately. Commitment to workplace safety, including participation in risk assessments and safety observations. Preferred Skills Experience with MIG and TIG welding techniques on heavy-gauge steel. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical or production-related technical problems. Prior experience in a metal fabrication or industrial wire production environment. Strong initiative to train others and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
