Job Description

Join our overnight production team and turn raw materials into precisely built belts that meet exact customer specifications. You'll own the process from reading the order to final packaging, ensuring every belt leaves the line within tolerance.
Your shift Third shift:
11:00 pm - 7:30 am. A night in this role Start by reviewing manufacturing orders to capture critical customer details and requirements. Inspect the starter piece to verify it's ready for assembly and meets quality expectations. Assemble wires into the starter piece with care and consistency. Kick off production with a bend test at the start of each belt, then repeat the bend test every three hours during the run.
Continuously check key quality characteristics:
twist, bow, curve, ends, belt width, tightness, parallel/parallelism, skips, and bend test results. Apply positive or negative bow to belts when required. Repair and refine edges using wire cutters and pliers; form edges using bending dies. Fabricate splice clips as needed to complete the build. Upon completion, re-roll the belt and monitor quality during the re-roll. Create the correctly sized cardboard box with a pneumatic staple gun, label it accurately, band/strap it, and stage it in the designated area. Cut cardboard poles to size using a saw for secure packing and handling. Rotate among different workstations as production demand shifts. Tools & materials you'll use Pneumatic staple gun, wire cutters, pliers, saw, bending dies, splice clips, cardboard poles/boxes.
