Reynoldsville, PA Shift:
2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Monday-Friday; additional hours or other shifts as needed

Manufacturing / Tool Grinding About Us We are a precision manufacturing operation producing high-quality cutting tools and components for customers across a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking a Post Grinding Operator to support our manufacturing operations on second shift. Position Overview The Post Grinding Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining departmental grinding and cleaning equipment to meet production requirements and quality specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment while following established work instructions and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and prepare departmental machinery according to Machinery Operating Instruction Manuals to meet job requirements and specifications Load and unload fixturing and packaging, making proper adjustments to ensure optimal equipment operation Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and operation sequences Monitor machine operations, including part movement, gauges, dials, and machine sounds to identify potential issues Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments Interpret drawings, item attributes, and routings Perform inspections according to inspection requirements and Maintain product specifications using appropriate inspection equipment Perform routine operator maintenance as required Properly use required tooling and systems Accurately complete all job-related documentation and shop floor data collection Adhere to all aspects of the Quality Management System and safety Assist with training additional employees when requested Operate and maintain Cleaning Line(s), including loading and unloading pre- and post-cleaning operations Perform material handling tasks, including receiving, stocking, and dispatching materials and spare parts as needed Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies Coordinate product pickup with carriers when requested, following shipping instructions Perform other duties as assigned by supervision or management
Qualifications Required:
Experience operating and setting up industrial manufacturing or grinding equipment Ability to read and interpret work instructions, routings, and drawings Working knowledge of inspection methods and measurement equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
