Shoe and Safety Glass Allowance Essential Responsibilities:
Perform all functions of deburring such as hand-sanding, belt-sanding, re-tapping, lapping, filing, scraping, sanding with sandpaper and Scotch-Brite and counter-sinking with hand machine drills; Ability to use drill, press and Bridgeport machines; Cleaning parts with various substances; Load and unload parts from tumbler and sandblaster; Pick up machined parts from machining groups and deliver finished parts to inspectors; Sort, count and tag parts before delivering to inspectors; Perform visual inspection to meet customer's specifications; Ensure overall cleanliness of area; Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on all equipment for this area; Follow and maintain all department policies and procedures; Enter data as required into company computer system; Adhere to Employee's responsibilities outlined in Cygnus' Health & Safety Policy.
Required Experience/Credentials:
High school or trade school graduate with good mechanical capabilities; Ability to use calipers or measuring devices to meet department requirements a plus; Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and have a cooperative, team spirit; Frequent lifting or moving of materials up to 50 lbs.; May be required to work up to 10 overtime hours per week and may be temporarily assigned to other areas of the shop; Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment (including hot, cold and/or noisy areas); Frequent hand to finger, handle, feel objects & tools, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking and hearing; Physically submit to periodic drug tests (employment is contingent upon favorable results) Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Women/Disabilities/Protected Veterans Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
