ASAP Position Overview Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a growing fabrication team in Henderson, CO seeking a Saw Machine Operator to support precision manufacturing operations. This team produces high-quality components that must meet strict dimensional and geometric standards and is focused on raising the overall quality and expectations of their work. This is a hands-on role primarily responsible for saw machine operation, with additional cross-training opportunities across multiple fabrication areas. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of ownership in their work. Key Responsibilities Operate saw machinery as the primary function, ensuring accurate cuts and dimensional consistency Support additional fabrication equipment as needed, including Shear, Press Brake, Cut-Off Saw, Abrasive Saw, Bandsaw, Ironworker, and Mill Maintain geometric integrity, including squareness, symmetry, alignment, and tolerance control Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Set up machines, including selecting tools, positioning materials, and adjusting feeds and speeds Inspect finished products to ensure quality and conformance to specifications Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas Safely operate equipment and follow all company safety policies and procedures Lift and move materials and components up to 51 pounds Collaborate with team members to support production efficiency and workflow Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering drawings Proficiency using measuring tools such as tape measures, protractors, and radius gauges Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce quality work Basic shop math skills (including fractions and decimals) Knowledge of safety standards and proper use of PPE Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random testing Preferred Skills & Traits Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability Natural curiosity and critical thinking skills Ability and willingness to cross-train across multiple fabrication functions Reliable, team-oriented, and motivated to contribute Eagerness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment What We're Looking For in Candidates Demonstrated experience operating saws or similar fabrication equipment Experience working in environments with tight tolerances and quality standards Examples of cross-training or versatility across equipment or roles Strong track record of reliability and consistent attendance Ability to work independently while contributing to a team Additional Details Fully onsite role (no remote flexibility) Parking available onsite Training provided Opening is due to company growth, with opportunity to join a team focused on improving quality and performance Why Join This Team?
