  • Be part of an expanding industry leader. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Grind Operator (Grade II/III
  • Skilled) to join our Rock Hill team on 1st shift.
This position is responsible for operating manual lathes and grinding equipment to finish rollers to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have prior grinding or machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate manual lathes and cylindrical grinders to meet production specifications. Perform rubber grinding with precision and consistency. Use measuring tools such as pi tapes and tape measures to verify part dimensions. Complete inspection reports using computer systems. Safely operate overhead cranes and other material handling equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Requirements Experience operating a manual lathe (required). Rubber grinding experience strongly preferred. Ability to read and use a pi tape and tape measure accurately. Proficiency with basic computer entry for inspection reports. Experience with overhead crane usage . Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
