Job Description

Job Title:
Stamping Crane Technician (TBTN) Primary Objective The Stamping Crane Technician is responsible for supporting production operations through efficient die changeovers and steel loading activities. This role ensures stamping equipment is prepared, maintained, and operated safely to meet production requirements. Major Responsibilities Perform die changeovers and coil set-up for metal stamping presses Load and handle steel materials using overhead crane and material handling equipment Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness Follow all safety procedures and perform daily tasks in a safe and compliant manner Support production operations by ensuring timely and accurate equipment preparation Maintain work area cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S standards Qualifications and Experience Experience with set-up and operation of metal stamping presses Ability to safely operate an overhead crane Experience in automotive stamping and/or welding environment preferred Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and maintaining accuracy Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and effective interpersonal skills Basic mathematical aptitude for measurements and calculations Computer experience, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) Ability to work with minimal direct supervision and demonstrate self-direction Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 33 lbs as required Standing continuously (100% of shift) Frequent bending and walking Material handling of steel components, both manually and using: Pallet jacks Forklifts Overhead cranes Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and heavy materials Requires adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Key Competencies (Optional but recommended for your level) Safety-focused mindset Attention to detail Reliability and accountability Team collaboration Mechanical aptitude EOE #
