As a Grinder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products through various grinding techniques. Responsibilities Set up and operate various grinding machines including surface grinders, manual grinders, CNC grinders, ID grinders, and OD/ID grinding machines. Perform deburring tasks to ensure smooth finishes on machined parts. Conduct precision measurement and inspection of finished products to meet quality standards. Execute machine setups for production runs, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and requirements. Utilize shop math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances accurately. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Qualifications Experience in deburring and grinding operations a plus. Familiarity with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Solid shop math skills for accurate calculations. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation. High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
