Metal is a leading American manufacturer of Precision Fabricated, Machined Metal and Integration services. We have an immediate opening for an
EXPERIENCED
Hardware Installer. The Hardware Installer will operate Hardware Presses in order to install hardware to the customer specifications.
Schedule:
1st Shift (6:00am
  • 2:30pm) 2nd Shift (3:30pm
  • 12:00am)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sets up and operates hardware insertion machine to install hardware in parts to customer specifications.
  • Sets-up hardware operations on various machines.
  • Assures that the first piece is correct prior to presentation to Quality Assurance for approval.
  • Insert hardware in parts and perform in process checks to assure that the process is in control.
  • Follow
ISO 9001
2015 procedures. Qualifications
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Proficient with calipers, square, and feeler gages.
  • Must be able to identify various metal types and hardware types as well as understand the hardware insertion requirements for each. Education and Experience
  • High School/GED or minimum of 5 years' experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
