Position Description Position Summary:

Assist experienced equipment operators by aiding them in the fabrication process by helping load machines and move material as needed. Position is one of much training and supervision by an experienced equipment operator.

Essential Functions:

Operates overhead crane and forklift. Lifts up to 60lbs. on a regular basis. Reads and interprets linear tape measure Able to meet established deadlines in a reasonable manner. Demonstrates an ability to perform other duties as assigned. Follow company quality, quantity and safety rules and regulations.

Position Requirements Working Conditions:

Reading a tape measure and blueprints Good with computers Production facilities which experience variances in temperature from very cold to very hot as weather changes. Noise levels in shops vary with type of fabrication process, can be very loud. Periods of high stress Considerable standing, bending, stooping, crouching and walking. A great deal of time spent making repetitive motions. One year experience working in some sort of production or manufacturing environment. Positions requires great deal of arm-hand steadiness and manual dexterity; including hand, arm and finger. Ability to read and interpret linear tape measure. Near visual acuity.
