This role supports daily field operations and assists with collecting accurate survey data for a variety of project types. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Operate a variety of surveying instruments and equipment to support field survey operations Assist the Crew Chief with the completion of field surveys and data collection Set up, operate, and perform basic field checks and adjustments on survey equipment including tripods, tribrachs, levels, total stations, GNSS receivers, and data radios/modems Read and interpret maps, construction plans, and survey documents Keep the Crew Chief informed of field conditions, progress, and any issues encountered Load and unload survey equipment, tools, and supplies from company vehicles Clean, maintain, and properly store survey equipment, tools, and vehicles Follow company safety policies and procedures during all field operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Valid, current driver's license required Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions and terrain Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
