Plasma Table Operator

Production Associate - Plasma Table Operator Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plasma cutting equipment to produce metal components. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, can read technical drawings and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Primary Responsibilities Prepare and operate Plasma Table for cutting steel plates and performing tasks such as drilling, milling, grinding, or cutting Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job orders Translate instructions into machine commands using basic programming or preloaded software- ProNest / Auto CAD Load raw materials and parts onto machines Conduct test runs to verify machine output matches specifications Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues Maintain accurate records of production and machine settings Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or vocational / technical school equivalent 2-5 years of experience in CNC machining or Plasma Table work Familiarity with measuring instruments Strong understanding of machining processes and materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
