Description
Responsibilities Manually set up press, print, score, and die cut accurately in accordance with proper operating techniques and specs.
Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and tightly secured.
Monitor box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, die cut, and print.
Become efficient in all aspects of the machine - pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
Ink management skills/color adjustment (PH and Viscosity).
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma/GED required.
The ability to multi-task and keep up with the pace of production while maintaining excellent quality and meeting machine efficiency goals for setup and run speeds.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Mathematical and problem-solving ability, and an ability to effectively utilize a tape measure.
Must be willing to work overtime as required including Saturdays when needed.
