In this role, you will be responsible for precision grinding of metal components to meet strict specifications and quality standards. Your expertise will ensure that parts are machined accurately, surface finishes are smooth, and production deadlines are consistently met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes in a dynamic factory environment. Duties Operate various grinding machines, including , cylindrical grinders, and centerless grinders, ensuring precise material removal. Set up and calibrate grinding equipment using technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate machining. Program and operate manual grinding machines. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to verify dimensions and tolerances throughout the grinding process. Maintain safety standards by adhering to factory safety protocols, including proper use of hand tools, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and machinery safeguards. Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Qualifications Proven experience operating grinding machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications accurately. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other quality control tools. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards in a fast-paced factory environment. Prior manufacturing facility experience is advantageous for understanding production workflows.
