As an HazMat Technician, you will play a crucial role in the cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work with a team of professionals committed to environmental safety and protection. Responsibilities Perform hazardous waste cleanup and disposal activities in compliance with safety standards. Operate forklifts and other equipment necessary for waste management tasks. Conduct chemical transfers and handling with precision and care. Use and maintain pumping systems effectively. Work in confined spaces when required, following safety protocols. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team. Qualifications Current 40-hour
HAZWOPER
certification or willingness to obtain before employment. Valid Class C Drivers License. Familiarity with field equipment and tools. Ability to travel and work overtime as needed. High School diploma or equivalent. Pass a drug and alcohol test upon job offer. Experience in hazardous waste site cleanup and general laborer duties (Preferred). Proficiency in using personal protective equipment (PPE) (Preferred). Knowledge of respiratory protection and chemical hazards (Preferred).Compensation Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) with employer matching Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid Time Off (Vacation, Holiday, and Sick Pay) Offered compensation: $24/hr - $26/hr Experience and License Requirements Driver's License (optional)HAZWOPER
