Full Job Description Company Overview:
Risk Removal is hiring skilled abatement technicians to work across Colorado. Risk Removal is a leading environmental remediation company, providing comprehensive solutions to clients for over 30 years. Our services include the removal and remediation of hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, and methamphetamine, as well as mold and other environmental hazards. Each year we complete hundreds of projects across the Front Range, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
Job Description:
We are looking to add to our crew of talented technicians who are skilled in building containments, removing hazardous materials, and preparing the workspace for final clearances. Safety, speed, and problem-solving abilities are essential for our teams to succeed on every project.
Responsibilities:
Perform abatement tasks as directed by the project supervisor Arrive to the job site on time everyday Always maintain safe work practices Maintain AHERA, CDPHE, and other certifications required to perform work Be a self-starter, motivated, and team player
Qualifications:
1+ years of asbestos abatement experience 2+ years of construction industry experience including specialty trades, demolition, restoration, or commercial cleaning Current Colorado AHERA and CDPHE Regulation 8 asbestos worker certification and physical Strong knowledge of relevant CDPHE, EPA, and OSHA regulations and guidelines Must be able to lift 100 pounds and perform work activities for 8 - 12 hours daily Work authorization in the United States Reliable transportation to jobsites Ability to communicate in Spanish & English is a REAL plus Ability to travel as needed
