Role:
SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties is looking for an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join our growing team in Villa Rica, GA. This is a critical leadership role where you'll oversee safe and compliant asbestos abatement projects while making a real difference in the communities we serve. Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct asbestos abatement crews on residential and commercial job sites Ensure full compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state regulations throughout all abatement projects Conduct pre-job site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety briefings Oversee proper containment setup, PPE usage, and decontamination procedures Coordinate waste disposal and maintain accurate project documentation and chain-of-custody records Communicate project progress and updates to project managers and clients Train and mentor abatement technicians on safe work practices and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Valid Georgia Asbestos Supervisor license or certification required Minimum 1 year of experience in asbestos abatement or environmental remediation Strong knowledge of
EPA NESHAP, OSHA
1926.1101, and Georgia EPD regulations Proven supervisory or crew leadership experience in the field Current AHERA Supervisor/Contractor certification preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities on active job sites
