In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely executing asbestos abatement projects, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment. Your expertise will help protect both our team members and clients from the health risks associated with asbestos exposure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects in construction, restoration, and mold remediation while advancing your skills in a fast-paced industry. Responsibilities Perform asbestos abatement activities including setup, removal, cleanup, and breakdown Construct and maintain containment systems (poly barriers, critical barriers, negative air setups) Operate and maintain HEPA filtration equipment and negative air machines Follow proper procedures for waste handling, packaging, labeling, and transport preparation Utilize PPE and respiratory protection in compliance with safety standards Conduct daily decontamination procedures (worker and equipment) Complete required job documentation and checklists Maintain clean and organized job sites and company equipment Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to meet production goals Requirements Valid Massachusetts Asbestos Worker License Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Ability to pass a fit test and wear respiratory protection Strong understanding of asbestos abatement procedures and safety protocols Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, climbing, confined spaces) Join us in making a difference by ensuring safe environments through expert asbestos removal!
